Lloyd Carnie - Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer, Lloyd oversees the day-to-day operations and direction of Parative, working closely with the other board members to maintain and increase Parative’s reputation in the migration marketplace.
Lloyd is one of the founder members of Parative. In addition to being a member of the Institute of Directors, Lloyd is also a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner and is frequently found working on-site developing and delivering solutions and services.
Lloyd has worked in IT for 13 years and started teaching MCSE students at a Microsoft Education centre before moving into the Senior Exchange Engineer role at Barclays HQ and on to Quest Software, where he attained the position of EMEA Principal Consultant before starting his own business in 2006.
At the age of 17, Lloyd joined the Royal Navy (Fleet Air Arm) and served on 8 warships over a ten year period. Following a period of teaching aviation and anti-submarine warfare at Portland Naval Base, Lloyd finished life in the forces with the Royal Naval Air Traffic Control Branch. Lloyd served in the Gulf War of 1990 and Yugoslavian conflict (94/95) and was awarded the Gulf War medal (1990 Kuwait).
Outside of Parative, Lloyd is a qualified pilot and has a passion for flying flexi wing Microlight aircraft.
