Parative has beaten some of the UK’s largest systems integrators in a competitive bid for an international Notes to Exchange migration with a London based law firm.
Parative presented a compelling bid based on a migration from IBM Lotus Notes to recently released Microsoft Exchange 2010.
Using their extensive experience, and presenting recent large clients such as the Daily Mail Group Trust (Associated & Northcliff Media division), Parative talked their client through their migration process they have developed over the years based on PRINCE2. Parative discussed with their client all of the issues that occur at critical stages of the migration and how they are able to effectively neutralise or reduce the risks to the live user base and infrastructure.
In the end, Parative’s depth of experience in Notes migrations, as well as how they manage infrastructure change from their experience in performing over 200 migrations was one of their key differentiator from the other competitors.
“Unlike other systems integrators we specialise in migration” stated CEO Lloyd Carnie, “This means our consultants perform more migrations in one year than most consultants will perform in their career. This means we’ve seen more issues from each client’s unique environment, so we can look for and mitigate these problems with our next client. Good project management and lessons learnt is how a company and their consultants grow. We’ve performed over 200 migrations to date, for clients as large as 150,000 users, so out of all of the companies saying they do migration it’s safe to say we can steer our clients along the safest course for their migration.”
